Chillin Productions show THIS SATURDAY Dec 5th

Hey guys, be sure to check out the show this Saturday! I'll have four pieces for sale alongside over 180 fantastic artists!

Plus Live painting by my two amazing friends Steve Javiel and Daniel J. Valadez

Hope to see you there!

And for those of you down south..

Don't miss C.A.V.E Gallery's show "The Way of Flow" Dec 4th!

Double Punch

Here are some photos from the show tonight!

I also submitted these three small pieces for the gallery wall on the first floor of Double Punch. Yay for art. (Update: If your looking for them, they actually ended up upstairs in the gallery)

Be sure to check out the show! It's running until December 10th! Also don't forget the Escondido show Dec. 12th ! If I can make it there from S.F. then so can you.

scans

I was able to scan some details of my pieces! Yay for friends! Still waiting on my 11x17 scanner to be fixed but whatever, 8x10 is fine for now. Here are some details. Some are a little blurry.

Come to Double Punch this Saturday! The show is from 7-late (10/11ish?)

The address is 1821 Powell St. San Francisco, CA

pictures

Since my scanner is still being broken (waiting on new parts), I'm updating with a few photos and soon will update with some scans. Hopefully tomorrow!

Here is a photo of two finished pieces for the Double Punch show this saturday!

Here are also some updates for Arthouse's "Sketchbook Project". The finished sketchbook is due in January. I'm working in green ink and gold paint.

You've already seen my Rabbits. I'm planning on submitting them to the Chillin Productions Show Dec 5th.

The Escondido show is coming up soon too (Dec 12th). The three pieces I've submitted are my three rabbit pieces....

broken scanner

My scanner is busy being broken right now, but I hope to add some goods by the weekend. In the mean time here's some western spaghetti (stop motion fun).

a better look

Here are some much more decent photo's of the finished piece. To give a better idea of how the girls actually look.

small update

willyousitnexttomeonthebus?

I forgot all about Julia Pott's and her amazing animations until I remembered I had a myspace today and went rummaging through all of my old blog entries and found these little gems.( The band is also adorable. "Casiotone for the Painfully Alone" )

Art House

Art House has put together this project titled "The Sketchbook Project". If you sign up you get a blank moleskin sketchbook sent to you with a theme attached. It's to be sent back to Art House before December 1st to be included in a traveling show for all eternity (umm, well at least for a while)! I received mine in the mail today and my theme is "It's not easy being green". Haha. Which of course reminded me of....

Then after seeing that video I also found this one. Oh so cute.

Oh and yay it's October! I bought these werewolf gloves in Walgreens for $1.99 because children's gloves are the only kind of gloves that fit my dainty fingers. It's a double edged sword. On one side, no regular gloves fit. But on the other side I get to buy gloves that glow in the dark and have patterns on them and wear them backwards like this! So hah!

It has been a long tiring day and I am cocooned in my bed ready for sleep. Meaning I have to get up and paint now. Deadlines are deadlines.

I miss my walks around the city/water, will have to make time for them soon somehow.
